Children and Young People
Please refer to the community calendar for details of forthcoming children's group meetings.
We now have an early morning prayer group to pray for the young of our church and our village. Everyone is welcome to come on a Thursday morning, every week, from 7.30-8.00am in The Stables.

Groups which meet on Sunday Mornings:
Creche: There are creche facilities in church choir vestry for children under three.
Sunday Club: 9.15 to 10.05am, age 3 to end of year 1, Sundays during term time (except third Sundays) in our Stables Centre. The children are taught about the love of Jesus through Bible stories, music, prayer, mime and craft activities - and have lots of fun.
Explorers: 9.15 to 10.05am, for years 2 to 4, Sundays during term time (except third Sundays)in our Stables Centre. The children are taught basic Christian truths and how these apply to their lives through stories, games and craft activities.
Pathfinders: 9.15 to 10.05am, for years 5 to 7, Sundays during term time (except third Sundays)in our Stables Centre. This group offers fun and friendship and an opportunity to discover the challenge of being a Christian today through discussion, Bible-based discussion and other activities.
All Sunday groups join the congregation towards the end of the 9.15am Service for a Blessing.
The groups often contribute a 'slot' to the 9.15am Service.
Some children and young people attend church without belonging to a group - that is quite alright!
Our other Children and Young Peoples' Groups
Teeny Tinies: meets every Tuesday during term time in the Stables Centre from 10.00 to 11.30am. A mother and baby group for all mums, carers and babies (0-2 years). Plenty of toys, a chance to share advice, stories and refreshments too!
Playcraft: meets at 2pm in the Church Hall on the second Monday of each month providing fun craft activities for pre-school children from 18 months and their parents
Junior Choir: This enthusiastic group of 7 – 15 year olds (girls and boys) meets in church on Fridays from 6-6.45pm in term time. We sing approximately once a month during a church service and perform in two concerts in the church each year.
Tiny Tots' Praise: meets every Thursday during term time in Church at 2pm for children under school age. Provides 45 minutes of fun with songs, prayers, stories and music, followed by refreshments.
Tuesday Club: meets the first and third Tuesday of each month during term time in the Church Hall from 6 – 7.30pm. Fun, games,and craft activities for 7 – 11 year olds.
Uniformed Groups: These groups often join us on festival days and special services.
